I am currently tattooing by appointment only. I chose this so that I could give more attention to each of the pieces that I do. It was a drastic decrease in work load, but a drastic increase in contemplation, planning and execusion for each tattoo I do. By doing this, I am able to produce better tattoos with more refined ideology. I am also being very selective with the work that I chose to take on. If I am not feeling any interest or relationship to the subject matter, I will not accept the piece.
Right now I am very interested in social commentary regarding corrupt ideology in the human purpose, deconstructing the consumer, deconstructing the capitalist, self-sustaining structures and communities, re-establishing moral standards, reducing population, expelling ego and living like true human beings. I am interested in reclaiming freedom, undoing government, undoing organized religion and redoing education so that is actually makes sense. I am interested in elevating the human being to an enlightened state, expanding the pool of knowledge and understanding that true wealth and understanding has nothing to do with a monetary system.
I am interested in the anatomy and motion of the female form and approaching it as a source of life, passion, lust and power. I am not interested in pinup style art. Though I respect it, I am not interested in recreating art that has already been done.
I am interested in addressing powerful questions like where did we come from, why are we here, and what do i do now?
Most of all, I am interested in what I see.
